Evangeline’s Garden is a beautiful medallion style, queen/king size quilt measuring 100 1/2” x 110 1/2”. Strip pieced patchwork along with some applique, make up several borders surrounding the traditional orange peel centre.
Evangeline’s Garden pays tribute to the Acadian heritage, the story of Evangeline is a beautiful but bittersweet love story about a young couple who were separated on their wedding day during the Acadian expulsion in 1755.
