Intro to Free Motion Machine Quilting – SAT May 17 2:30pm

Learn how to quilt smaller items on your home sewing machine using free motion quilting techniques! We will lead you into the basics of FMQ, troubleshooting your machine, and practise the basic movements. You will also be able to sit down at a larger machine to try how it works as I show you.

REQUIREMENTS: a sewing machine that can drop or cover the feed dogs, and a free motion or darning foot for your machine.

PLEASE BRING:
your sewing machine, notions, thread, etc
a quilt sandwich or project

Practise pieces will also be available.
